I am Tina Tenneberg, a German who has lived in London, UK, for18 years.
I hold an MA in linguistics and literature and have experience working with language in various ways, as a translator, especially of websites, literature, film subtitles, and voice-overs, a German teacher, writer and magazine sub-editor and I have also worked with audio.
London might be the most multicultural and international place in the world, which comes in handy for the topics I am writing about and I enjoy the feeling of having the whole world at my doorstep.
Whatever I do professionally is usually connected to language, my job description is changing all the time and life is never boring. On this blog, I am bringing my various experiences together, I am sharing what I am learning and I am passionate about empowering writers and translators.
